Everyone paints this picturesque mining headframe with buildings. Silhouetted against the skyline of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, it is so appealing. The Silhouette inspired me to do something different, as the milky way is in the S-SW of the sky. I started late in the day and first completed the sky. I returned the next day near sunset to complete the foreground.
